(.(Speaking of danger)
When the centipede almost touched him, Moss yelled and and jumped backwards and fell.As he turned to go, Moss heard a hiss and a pattering sound coming from behind him. He gasped again as a nasty giant centipede was coming towards him through the corridor, blocking his escape. The pupa mustered his energy and blasted it with rocks. Not fazed in the least, the creepy arthropod locked on target and rushed at him.
(Nooo! Poor Moss! When the centipede almost touched him, Moss yelled and and jumped backwards and fell.
And fell.
And fell.
"AAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" He yelled as the he started to fall faster.
Then all of a sudden-
*THUD* he fell on a ledge many winglengths down from the top. Everything went black.
(He's ok, his unusually tight, tough (tempoararily) double-layered scales protected him.)(Nooo! Poor Moss!)
(*cries anyway* thanks BakBuk(He's ok, his unusually tight, tough (tempoararily) double-layered scales protected him.)
(Starshine asked him a question)
(What's happened??)He opened his eyes and stretched his tiny little wings again, “hungwy!”
Several minutes later, he came to. "Oooohhhhhh" he groaned. "where am I??"When the centipede almost touched him, Moss yelled and and jumped backwards and fell.
And fell.
And fell.
"AAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" He yelled as the he started to fall faster.
Then all of a sudden-
*THUD* he fell on a ledge many winglengths down from the top. Everything went black.
Then he remembered. The cave. The abyss. The centipede! Falling...falling........someone... screaming?! He jumped up, ready to defend himself from the dangers that seemed to be all around him, but, weak with exhaustion, he nearly passed out again as he fell heavily back to where he was resting, his tough skin bouncing off a jagged rock.Several minutes later, he came to. "Oooohhhhhh" he groaned. "where am I??"
Lepidoptera had been soundly asleep, but that pesky sun was beating down on his back. Sighing with annoyance, he straightened and hooked his claws into the rock, climbing up the side of the spire. He clambered around to the other side, away from the sun, in search of another ledge to perch on. He was about to give up when he noticed a distinctive split in the rock, just wide enough for him to squeeze through. Absolutely not. You are not going into some random cave and getting yourself killed. Leave it for someone brave. He thought to himself, but his curiosity got the best of him, and he folded his wings back and slid through the crack. It was a tight fit, but he flopped onto the ground on the other side of the crevice. He watched for any movement, but not even the slightest breeze disturbed the fog. He could feel the presence of other dragons moving around on top of the cloud layer with his antennae. Although dragons from other tribes might've found it’s presence eerie, Lepidoptera found the thick fog soothing. In fact, he crinkled his snout when he noticed the hard late afternoon sun burning through it. He curled up on his ledge with his back to the sun, wrapping his tail around himself like a cat and pulling his wing over his head. He closed his eyes but flicked his antennae up slightly, attentive to danger.
