Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

Moss, leaving the meeting, made sure the Solosis group was together. Thankfully it was and they started to head west. Then a thought struck him and he turned to face Basalt as they were flying. "Father" he asked, "Do you remember that lost Enfernae family we helped out many years ago? I think the adults were named Milton and- oh what's her name-- ah yes, Milton and Jasper, I believe. They had a son named Ocavo as well. I've heard that Ocavo's still around these parts somewhere. Do you think it would be alright if I could maybe go find him and visit with him some? It's been years since I've seen him last."

Name: Apollyon
Gender: Male
Tribe: Hatched an Enfernae, but does not hold loyalties towards any tribe.
Role: Imago
Looks: Very large, with especially big wings. A very muscular and powerful dragon, has four legs but often just walks upright on two. Has a hideous face with two large curling horns (like a ram's) and a thick, crushing jaw. Overall color is a blood red/purplish hue.
Mate: none.
Anything else: See backstory.
A long, long time ago, in a little Enfernae town near the border with the kingdom of Solosis, was a happy family of three. Joshua and Mira, and their son Shamir. About five years after Shamir was hatched, Mira laid another egg but soon after died suddenly of unknown causes, leaving the family sorrowful and with a new wyrm named Rango to take care of.

All went well for a while and the two wyrms grew in both wisdom and stature, and Shamir soon became a pupa. Joshua contracted a terrible disease, and the Enfernae doctors weren't sure they would be able to cure it. They tried their best and he slowly recovered. For a few days he was feeling almost normal again, but much to everyone's astonishment and sadness, was found pale, cold, and completely dead on his bed one morning. The doctors did an autopsy but found nothing.

Shamir and his brother felt lost and anguished at the death of their second parent. They soon after went to live with their uncle Uriah and their cousin (his son) Ephraim. By this time it was clear that the two were not merely ordinary dragons, but were starting to develop special abilities and traits, giving them an advantage over other dragons of their age. Their uncle cautioned them to use their capabilities responsibly and well. Rango however, going out one evening to test his new-found strengths, became too bold and adventurous, and (even though it never was clear what happened to him) did not come home that night and never did again. Shamir could hardly bear the loss of his parents and now his brother. He started to grow gloomy and brooded a lot.

During this time, Ephraim had cracked and become an Imago, fitting him to go and live on his own. Now it was just Shamir and his uncle.
The young dragon grew and was nearing the day when he would crack himself. One day when they were working on the farm together, a piece of metal equipment gashed Uriah on the leg. It soon became infected. The doctors were called and they started treatment immediately. The uncle started to get better and was almost healed when one morning he too was found dead in his bed. He was also examined and no apparent cause of death was found. This was the day that Shamir cracked and became an Imago, and it couldn't have been a worse one. The death of his last living relative (except for his cousin) coupled with the stress of cracking and becoming an Imago turned him dark and bitter, and he sought a reason for all the horrible things that had happened to him.

Meanwhile, Ephraim was doing well. He found a mate and together they hatched and egg. They named their son Milton.

Shamir was searching around for something to shed light on all the sudden and mysterious deaths in his family. Then he heard the legend of the Mortimaunner dragons. The ones that could control life and death and lived in a hidden world all to themselves. He knew immediately that they must be the cause of his family's death and that they would not take him as they had the others. He vowed vengeance on the entire tribe and devoted the rest of his life to finding a way to destroy them. He worked hard and thought up of many schemes to get his way to get the power that he needed to access the Mortimaunner dimension, wherever it was or however you got to it. He picked up and manipulated many younger dragons into working for him along the way, training them to encourage their dark side and to do as he commanded them. Two such dragons were an Enfernae wyrm named Flint, who had the beginnings of a brilliant mind, and a burly, scruffy, no-good city-street roamer of the Solosis tribe named Tank.

By this time, things about Shamir had started to change. His mind, his looks, his personality, and even his voice. So it was that his name changed as well. Shamir he no longer was and never would be again. His name was APOLLYON.

He and his advisors had come up with a plan. It centered around the Watchstones that every particular tribe had. Enfernae had red, Aerattl had yellow, Solosis had green, and Aquations had blue. These Watchstones had the power that, when you put your palm over one and closed your eyes, you could follow the actions of any member of that tribe from wherever you were. These stones were located in a small chamber at the very center of every palace and only the Monarche was ever allowed to go in there. They only did so very rarely. Apollyon thought to take them by whatever means necessary, hoping to find a way to secure the Mortimaunner Watchstone.

Quickly and mysteriously, he took the Aerattl and Solosis Watchstones. The Enfernae Watchstone he got right out from under their noses during Vixen's coronation as Monarche. However, the Aquation Monarche was expecting it to happen to them next and he was prepared. A very clever and wise fellow, he was seeing what was happening and vowed that it would never happen to his kingdom. Apollyon knew this and all Aquation's guards and special forces were sitting around doing nothing, as the adversary never came.

Apollyon knew that he could not take the Aquation Watchstone by force, but there were other options. Flint and he developed a deadly water virus that would make the Aquation Imagos go crazy and turn on each other. The plan worked beautifully. The dragons were corrupted, and the stone was got without hindrance.

Now with the combined power of these stones, the dragon realized that he was the most powerful dragon on the continent. His next move is now working towards becoming Monarche of the entire continent of Draconat, taking it by force if necessary, giving him that much more power in his efforts to reach the hidden kingdom.

BUT-- one problem. He knows there are those who would stand in his way. One of the largest threats to his movements is a large, powerful Enfernae, the son of Milton. The grandson of Ephraim. The great-grandson of Uriah, and Apollyon's grand-nephew.

His name-- was OCAVO.

Basalt looked at him, he was clutching Ace in his talons, wary of him falling. “Yes, I do. And I beleive Ocavo has been hanging around the caves at the border of my territory. Yes, you can go meet him. But don’t be gone for more than 3 day. Good?”
