Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

Zephyr was flying back towards Aerattl with Storm, when she halted midair. “Monarche Storm,” she started, unsure if her idea was a good one. “do you think I could- could stay behind? To keep an eye on Monarche Vixen’s project? I want to make sure any Aerattl that volunteer are treated well.”

Ace: yay, can't wait! *he smiled at the thought of clean water to swim in.*
Basalt smiled, happy that the little Aquation had wandered into his life. It kept his mind of… other things.
After some time, they reached the Great Centeral Cave, and Basalt went straight to his room. There was a huge rock in the back center of the room, carved out into the comfortable shape of a bed (well, comfortable for a solosis 😅) and there was a large, navy blue blanket folded on the bed.
In the very center of the room, closer to the door, there was a large slab of marble for a meeting table. The edges of the table had been beautifully carved in the shapes of tree branches. This is where Basalt could call meetings. There were tables against the sides of the walls; Solosis food was stored there now, but when visitors came, the types of food that they ate was placed there for their pleasure.
The large black dragon moved to the bed, looked back toward the door for intruders, and pulled the stone bed away from the wall. There was a dark hole under the bed, and the Monarche walked in…

*ace looked around in awe at the large cavern that he was brought I to, almost the size of central cave, but more interesting then that one. He layed his top spines flat as he relaxed more and jumped down when he smelled the dampness from the water in the cave.*

*starshine had watched them leave for the beach. She was proud of her sin, though she would miss the assistance he provided at the clinic. She smiled lightly before heading out to gather herbs.*

Storm: when we have the volunteers, you can go with them, but be sure to send reports on the progress.

The tunnel was short, it went right under the back wall and into a hidden room behind the bedroom. When he stepped out, Ace got a much different vibe than he ever would’ve expected from a cave in Solosis.
The cave was
massive.
Sacalites hung from a huge, 20 foot ceiling, dripping into a pool set into the ground, eroded about 10 feet into the floor. Scrub brush and other small cave plants popped up out of the ground here and there and moss covered almost everything. Ivy grew in some places on the walls. But the main eye-catcher was an enormous tree, right behind the pool against the back wall, partly holding up the ceiling. Some of the branches spread over the ceiling, leaves thick, while others grew into the ceiling, like roots.
Glow-worms covered the ceiling, giving off and eerie, cool blue light. It made the water almost glow, giving it an appearance like glass.
Basalt came here to relax, or drink. But sometimes just to sit. He came here a lot with his mate, and just being in the room made his stomach tighten. He hadn’t been here since her death, but his constant fear was that the waters has been corrupted while he was gone.
It made him extremely relieved to see the waters were still clear.

Apparently Whisp is a sin. ;)
