Yeah, I kind of have a style and tend to stick to it, so I was sort of going for a more gargoyle-look and it didn’t work.

Basalt gave Ace one of his rare smiles. “That’s my tree.” He said. “My special tree. It started growing when I was hatched. That’s what happens with all Solosis. When they’re hatched, a plant starts growing. It could be any plant; a vine, a flower, a tree, a bush, and the plant grows with the dragon, and the dragon can interact with the plant.” He peered at it, “It’s almost as if we share the same soul. If we feel depressed, the plant wilts. If we’re happy, or he plant thrives. And-“ he knew where he was saying was heavy for such a young wyrm to take in, but Basalt wanted to teach him everything. “And- if we- die. Then- the plant dies.” He said hesitantly, watching Ace.
“My Soul Plant grew a tree. Very big, very tall. Like me. In fact, this tree made this cave. And if I were to die of an unnatural cause, like if someone kil-“ The black dragon stopped himself. No, he wouldn’t go that far. “If I were to die… prematurely, then my tree would die. And this whole cave would collapse.
In fact, it’s roots have grown so far, I wouldn’t be surprised if half of the entire Great Cave collapsed on itself.” He said, slightly alarmed.

Enfernae: Fire, maybe like coals and smoke too.
Aquations: Water, steam, vapor (mist/fog/whatever), bubbles
Solosis: Rocks and dirt, unless they are plant related in which they will grow that plant instead of spitting rocks and dirt.
Aerattl: I don't think you've decided what their breath weapon is yet

I did thought it would be cool if they could read minds. So the dragon they’re with has to post their “thoughts” like this: *boy I sure do wish I had a Hot Dog right about now instead of having to sit here with (insert name of annoying dragon)!*. But no one else would be able to “read their thoughts”.

(If the tree is his breath weapon then yes. He can use that specific type tree in different ways, etc, root weopons and cages, leaf storms, etc)
