Flint sensed movement from inside the room, almost as if one of them were waking up. He gave the silent hand signal for "Let's yeet it OUT of here", and they silently raced out of the hallway without anyone noticing.

Sterling had been laying on her uncomfortable rock bed, just staring at the grey cave wall. She narrowed her eyes when she heard Basalt and then rolled them. She got up lazily and slumped over to the door. She opened it and looked at Basalt with a straight face. "What do you need, boss?" She said in her grumpy tone, enunciating boss in a very strange way.

But because of the way she treats her own daughter.* I am sorry for springing this on you so suddenly Vixen, but it may have been worse if you had found out another way. Please don't let others sway your decisions they are your's to make and no one else's. *he looked at her mother as he said that, then took off before the guards could catch him.

Rowan had slept in that morning for some reason. He was feeling bright and cheery. He got out of bed and groomed his scales to look his very best. He raced out of his room, searching for Vixen. He listened and sniffed around until he got the slightest hint of Mao's voice. He ran after it and stumbled into a room with Vixen, who was crying, Mao, who had his helmet off and was rushing away, Vix's mom, who looked as impolite as ever, and a bunch of guards.

He widened his mouth a little by accident. Then he shut his mouth and strutted in there, acting tougher than he really was. He straightened his advisor helmet and then cleared his throat. "What is going on in here?" He said with an unusually low, echoey voice.
