*storm lashed her tail back and fourth as she heard the news. She didn't say to whom she was surrendering to, nor why, nor how that came to be.*

(Dragons can live and reproduce for a long time. So I like to say that starshine was alive to see the reign or at least for monarchs if your fine with that XD)

(Dragons, like humans, grow quickly as babies. but once they hit their pupa stage, their growth slows down. a lot. by the time they become an imago, they stay fairly young for a very very very very long time )

Basalt listened to Vixen’s news, although he was upset that she would just hand over her whole kingdom. He had already flown partly into Enfernae, and abruptly turned around and flew toward Solosis again. Axel had gotten ahold of his guards and summoned his army. Basalt quickly called them off. “Monarche Vixen has surrendered Enfernae.” He told them. “Take extra measures to protect Solosis in case those armies attack us.”
