Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

After ransacking the palace and finding no evidence of Vixen or any others besides clones, he decided to leave. The dragon flew northeast from the palace, heading to Aerattl and monarche Storm. Perhaps she would know what was going on.
*storm was buying herself making sure her people were ready for any invasions. The soldiers orders were to make sure the civilians were in hiding in the presence stone caves so they wouldn't be found by the vision stones. As well as to buy them time to get there. She also made sure her own presence stone was on so that appylon couldn't see where she was through the vision stones either.*

(Idk where Ace is- wasn’t Shilah helping him?)
@Bakbuk
(Tank is attacking here, maybe you can send a clone to run Ace and Shilah towards Marsh. Btw, don’t forget about Moss!)
@Crestcrazy2
(Marsh still protecting the nursery? Maybe he can find Shilah trying to protect Ace)

Basalt flew over the rocky terrain, his wings aching from so much flying this past week. Even then, he flew faster. He had left a guard with Ace, and he had been aching to make sure that the little wyrm was safe in the nursery. He flew quickly to the Great Cave- where a shock overtook his large frame, sending a freezing buzz through his body.
Clones.
Everywhere.
In the Great Cave!!
He roared in anguish when he swooped down and spotted the dead guard right outside the Cave entrance.
Furiously, he rolled into a ball midair and plummeted down the earth where he landed with an earth-shaking thump. Quickly, he spread his talons out over the ground and felt the vibrations in the ground. He sensed the clones, walking single file with the same familiar pattern on the inside of the Great Cave. Then he sensed his troops deeper in the Cave- most of the ones hidden in the ground and floor dead after their failed surprise attacks. The others had regrouped and were trying to use the tunnels to their advantage, but the fiery Enfernae were sending them fleeing with bursts of fire. Summoning all the power he could muster in his heavy frame, he called on the energy in his tree far down in its cave…
And with a sudden rumble of the earth,
It responded.
Thick, winding branches broke through the roof of the ceiling in front of the Enfernae clones, leaves blocking their view as thin, tough roots shot out of the ground under their claws, entangling their talons and meeting the branches halfway as they locked together in a thick wall between them and Basalt’s dragons.
Struggling to hold power over each branch and root of the tree- the moment the wall was completed, Basalt released his grip of power on the oak tree and gasped for breath.
He staggered a moment, light-headed.
Before collapsing in the sand-
unmoving.

(Drama- I know! But I got so into it!)

Zephyr flew back to Storm’s side after evacuating all the Aerattl to the caves. A few trusted soldiers and the four Solosis were watching over them. All the soldiers and eligible males in the Cloud City and surrounding were keeping up the fog curtain and scouring the perimeter. Even if the Enfernae did muscle their way past the low altitude (which even then, would result in at least 300 dragons passing out because Enfernae are used to lower altitudes), then they’d be hard-pressed at all sides. It would be an apparent easy battle, since the Enfernae would be faint and the Aerattl would be strong-minded and determined.
Zephyr followed Monarche Storm as she ran by all her emergency protocols with the lead guards.
“Has Apollyon been spotted?” Zephyr asked. “I still haven’t met this beast, what does he look like?”

Tide lay in the sand. She traced to perimeter of the now-cooled glass talon print in the sand. She had used her water ability to cool the glass quicker, and now she was studying it. She sat up for a moment and sprayed cool water under her body to dampen the sand and lay back down. “Whisp, c’mere!” She called to him. “What type of dragon do you think this would belong to?” She asked him. “Mom- er, Starshine said that there were two Enfernae here, but how does that match to glass footprints? What kind of dragons could make glass? Solosis? Sand is a rock, right?”

@Bakbuk
(Onyx led the clones, easily defeated the Aquations, but got unexpected burned by an Aquation/ Enfernae hybrid. She went to Starshine for help, and met Westar. Interested in his fiery powers (too much fire), she followed him to the place he lived, and is headed back to the Ash-Rock Range to meet Apollyon when he returns)

Onyx flew back towards the Ash-Rock Range. Distracted by the recent events she experienced, with the volcano tremors and the possible eruption in the near future, she flew up to the entrance of the secret cave and opened the door without looking out for any eavesdroppers. Quickly, she entered and shut the door behind her.
