Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

Moss leapt forward and stabbed the club, the deadly sharp point of his sword penetrating the thick wood. He yanked Tank's arm back, throwing him off-balance.

Tank stumbled slightly but recovered and threw Moss (who was still hanging on to the sword) across the room towards the back wall.

More and more clone troops came, overpowering the Solosis force.
One of the clone generals went to the advisor's room. He opened the door without warning.
"Stay calm and do what we say and you won't get hurt. No funny business now." He said, beckoning Sterling to come with him.

Up and down, down and up the hall Moss and Tank fought, both seeming to have relentless energy and strength. Moss however, not being used to intense fighting, was starting to weaken. Tank seized upon the advantage and beat him back to the far wall, slowly but surely. By the time he had driven the young imago all the way to the back, Moss could barely hold him. Tank continued to drive him into the corner mercilessly.

After alerting all the dragons in charge of the tremors, all of which they had already sensed and suspected an eruption. He flew back over the volcano. The Volcano-Subtribe were calmly evacuating towards a distant forest, Chief Blaze leading them.
Westar didn’t know how an eruption would feel on his scales. After all, he’d never really gotten burned- since he was the burn-er. Either way, he didn’t really want to find out. He couldn’t go with the Tribe, there would be too much hustle and bustle with the moving dragons, and he was already missing Onyx, so he decided to find her.
The dark blue and fiery-colored dragon flew away from the volcano with a flicker of flames from his wings and headed towards the Ash-Rock Range, the last place he had seen Onyx going. He saw her in the distance, and followed her towards one side of the mountain. He watched her land on a ledge, and seemingly disappear into the shadows.
Confused, he landed on the ledge and stared at the flat wall in front of him. Where did he go? It was pretty confusing.
Red dragon here- then suddenly gone.
He started feeling all over the stone surface, leaving black marks on the walls, when suddenly..
It happened so quickly.
A mysterious door had been opened and he had fallen inside.
Thump!
Onto the cold stone floor. Well, not cold anymore now that he was standing upon it. The door slowly closed behind him, and other than a torch in the hallway,
He was alone in the sudden darkness.

@the_peanut_coop
(Vixen in the lab- Basalt just left and is headed for Solosis)
@Anime2lover
(Idk where Ace is- wasn’t Shilah helping him?)
@Bakbuk
(Tank is attacking here, maybe you can send a clone to run Ace and Shilah towards Marsh. Btw, don’t forget about Moss!)
@Crestcrazy2
(Marsh still protecting the nursery? Maybe he can find Shilah trying to protect Ace)

Basalt flew over the rocky terrain, his wings aching from so much flying this past week. Even then, he flew faster. He had left a guard with Ace, and he had been aching to make sure that the little wyrm was safe in the nursery. He flew quickly to the Great Cave- where a shock overtook his large frame, sending a freezing buzz through his body.
Clones.
Everywhere.
In the Great Cave!!
He roared in anguish when he swooped down and spotted the dead guard right outside the Cave entrance.
Furiously, he rolled into a ball midair and plummeted down the earth where he landed with an earth-shaking thump. Quickly, he spread his talons out over the ground and felt the vibrations in the ground. He sensed the clones, walking single file with the same familiar pattern on the inside of the Great Cave. Then he sensed his troops deeper in the Cave- most of the ones hidden in the ground and floor dead after their failed surprise attacks. The others had regrouped and were trying to use the tunnels to their advantage, but the fiery Enfernae were sending them fleeing with bursts of fire. Summoning all the power he could muster in his heavy frame, he called on the energy in his tree far down in its cave…
And with a sudden rumble of the earth,
It responded.
Thick, winding branches broke through the roof of the ceiling in front of the Enfernae clones, leaves blocking their view as thin, tough roots shot out of the ground under their claws, entangling their talons and meeting the branches halfway as they locked together in a thick wall between them and Basalt’s dragons.
Struggling to hold power over each branch and root of the tree- the moment the wall was completed, Basalt released his grip of power on the oak tree and gasped for breath.
He staggered a moment, light-headed.
Before collapsing in the sand-
unmoving.

(Drama- I know! But I got so into it!)

Moss took one last lunge at the huge Solosis. He flipped over Tank's head, flew out of the corner and almost succeeded in slashing the dragon in the back before Tank's thick cudgel slammed into Moss's head again, sending him flying one way and his sword another.

Tank stalked over to Moss and slammed him against the wall.
"Very brave you have fought. VERY brave. But what of it? It is time for you to meet your fate. All rebels must die." The dragon hissed chillingly. "It is INEVITABLE."
He raised his club over Moss's head slowly, to deliver the stroke that would end the life of this son of Basalt.

Moss hung from Tank's talons, limp. His head was swirling and so was the room. The dragon's voice faded in and out, terrifying and cruel. Moss tried to say something, do something in response, but he couldn't. The struggle was over.

I MUST KNOW THE END.. But I have work tomorrow… I’ll read/write more tomorrow! Good night!

Tank brought the club a bit higher. He wanted to make sure this was finished properly.

Suddenly, The ground started to tremble. The walls quivered, and the room started to shake. The earthquake got more and more violent, as rocks started to fall from the ceiling and the floor started to crack. Tank lost his footing and he and Moss fell to the ground.

Moss sensed something changing a few seconds before Tank did. He felt the first tremors and he subconsciously, almost automatically felt them back to their source. It didn't make sense at first to his fuzzy, disoriented mind. But then it did. It was the tree. The Monarche's tree. Basalt's tree. HIS FATHER'S tree. His father was home. He felt it.

Out of the cracks of the ground giant roots tore through, knocking Tank to the ground and making a wall between him and Moss. Impenetrable foliage and twisted branches twirled up to separate the two. Then as soon as it all started, it stopped.
There was dead silence.

Tank pushed himself up off the ground and lumbered over to the barrier. He could see Moss laying there through a small hole.

"You will see me again, Moss. When the waves overpower you. When DEATH'S cold arms WRAP themselves around your wretched soul.
I... WILL BE THERE."

Moss reared up as high as he could (he was so weak that it was barely a few inches). His slightly unfocused eyes, filled with terror and hate, bored into Tank's.

"ARRRGGGH! Be gone!! Be-- Be gone." The young dragon groaned as his last burst strength left him and he sank to the ground.

The huge Solosis slowly turned around, picked up the Diamond Sword, and left.
