Thank you!! I have read WoF! It really inspired the way I draw! I’ve got a YT channel for my drawings.@Blue Raptor
(Your drawing of Tide is so pretty! Your other drawings are great too, do you read WoF? Your style seems similar. I’m busy trying to decide which ones I should draw first.)
Onyx startled. This was it. “Yes Master?” She said quickly and firmly.Apollyon settled back down in his throne. Then he remembered. "ONYX!" He called. The Enfernae Watchstone glowed brighter.
Pandion scowled, “your mother abandoned you like that? I’m glad Starshine found you.” She stood up and stretched her large wings. “How about I show you around the cave?““Yeah..” The blue and sandy-colored dragon said, looking up at them. “It must be wonderful to be up here all the time, looking at the stars and seeing each sunrise and sunset from so high up.”
Tide’s smile grew sad. “Not long. Me and my mother lived in a really pretty underwater cave on the outskirts of the Surface Reef Town, right near the Praline Pavilion- where the Monarche lived.
(You can see the map if confused)
When the Virus started making the Aquation soldier go crazy, my mother got scared. I was very young, still a wyrm, when she brought me to the shoreline and abandoned me there.” Tide’s smile dropped completely. It was really scary for young me. I found a small cave near the shore and lived there.
Sometimes at night I’d go up to the surface of the water- and there wouldn’t be many waves, I’d just poke my head above the water and look up at the stars,
and sit like that for hours.”
Tide looked back down at Pandion. “That was when I started going on land. It was so much brighter and more colorful, but I stayed away from other dragons. That’s when I found Starshine and Whisp. They took me in when no one else would.”
She grew silent, deciding to leave out the odd first encounter with Monarche Current, when the crazed Aquation leader first went up on land, claiming Tide to be her daughter. That still confused Tide.
Apollyon settled back down in his throne. Then he remembered. "ONYX!" He called. The Enfernae Watchstone glowed brighter.
“I know..” Tide said, and stood up with Pandion, shaking out her scales. She was getting used to the dryness on land, but it still felt.. unnatural. “I’d love a tour!”Pandion scowled, “your mother abandoned you like that? I’m glad Starshine found you.” She stood up and stretched her large wings. “How about I show you around the cave?“
Night!(I’m heading to bed. Goodnight all!)
"Come here to me." He commanded, opening a portal in front of her.Onyx startled. This was it. “Yes Master?” She said quickly and firmly.
Onyx walked through the portal and stood in front of Apollyon’s throne. “Yes Master?” She said, bowing. She put her weight on her left leg, as the other still pained her."Come here to me." He commanded, opening a portal in front of her.
"I have not seen you in a good while now. I need you to report to me how progress is coming and what you have been doing in your absence." He said as uniformly as possible, even though he was raging on the inside. He gave her a look that meant "If you lie it will only be worse for you."Onyx walked through the portal and stood in front of Apollyon’s throne. “Yes Master?” She said, bowing. She put her weight on her left leg, as the other still pained her.
Finally Flint gained what seemed to be the final advantage. He had Ocavo in a stranglehold on his back. The dragons weaved in and out, occasionally one would get the advantage, and then the other would. But they kept fighting, sword to spear, neither of them seeming to be able to finish the other.
