Vixen stifled tears as she strived to be brave. She had never wanted to see anyone in a condition like this. "Basalt- I just- I just wanted to say that, you're the bravest dragon I've ever met. You- You inspire me."

AWWWW!! I just want to say that here, cause Basalts probably gonna say something a lot less heartwarming-

Basalt chuckled, looking at Vixen. “Stay just the way you are Vixen.” He said, taking a long breath. “We need you more than we ever needed your mother.” He winked. “And I can say that, cause she was a mess when she was your age. I remember.”

*storm spotted the dragon she was looking for and brought the older dragon over to them.*

*starshine had been told what happened to basalt as she followed storm over. She looked quickly at the other monarchs, before turning her attention toward basalt.*

Starshine: what you want to do could indeed get yourself killed. Do you still want to go through with it? *she asked with a serious tone.*
