What do ya need me fur??
"I am here to take my rightful possession of the whole of Draconat." Apollyon said simply.
"Why do you destroy so much life and cause havoc to your tribes? You know that resistance to a higher power means destruction." He growled.

Current’s first thought was; ‘No! You’re wrong!’ But she thought about it a moment. Apollyon did want to rule- but why was that bad? So many lives had been lost already, and Apollyon had cured the waters! Given them a chance to surrender! They were the ones resisting..
Basalt hadn’t responded to Apollyon yet, he groaned with pain as it flared paralyzingly. He knew he was hurting himself, but was being driven mad with hate towards the warlord. He opened his mouth to speak, but Monarche Current had already spoke up- her voice even, but with a rasp behind it.
“I’ve already surrendered once, like Vixen did.” She flattened her ears at the young monarche. “I’m not going to go back on my word. I have nothing to gain, but much to lose from this war.” She looked pointedly at Basalt. “Surrender.” She said softly. “I don’t want to lose you three to a pointless war.”
With a hesitation, she moved over to stand near the large red dragon, Apollyon.
“He cured the oceans. I owe him that.” She said, lowering her eyes.
To respond to these with Vixen! What do ya need me fur??

Vixen winced. The way Current talked, she felt like a bad guy.@Anime2lover @the_peanut_coop

Basalt had been struck dumb by Current’s choice. His eyes slowly cleared and he took a stiff step nearer to Vixen. “You’re right Vixen.” He said softly to her. He turned a steely glare on Apollyon “It’s not YOUR choice what happens to the tribes. You can’t lead a tribe you don’t understand. Even if you kill us, there will still be dragons that defy you. There will ALWAYS be dragons that defy you.”Vixen winced. The way Current talked, she felt like a bad guy.
Going back on her word?
But they had lost so much already.
"I, I don't-" Vixen whimpered. "That's not fair! You're taking away identity! You can't control all the dragons! I don't want the beautiful, diverse world that I knew to become a world of confliction puppet clones! I can't... But I can't risk the lives of everyone I love-" She felt frozen to the spot, wanting someone to order her around, almost missing her mother.

(Currently- In this universe- according to his knowledge"SILENCE!!" Apollyon roared, the echoes sounding off the distant mountains and ringing all around.
"You are altogether too bold in your speech, Solosis. You know not with whom you contend" The red dragon grumbled angrily.
"Storm." He turned to her. "You've been unusually silent.
Let me ask you a question:
Who, in the very beginning, created all the realm of Draconat?"
(Correct answer is some legend blah blah blah about the god-dragons Igneous and Cumulus)
Sequel
