Cursed Waters- A Dragon RP

Ocavo's eyes widened. "It's not working." He breathed in shock. "He's-- unstoppable."
"Not without that shield he isn't." Flint said, bringing things back down to earth yet again.
"We need to get it away from him. You got anything, Onyx?" He asked, not taking his eyes off of the scene below him.
Onyx raced quickly through the list of possibilities. “Right. We need to all attack him at once so he can’t focus on any one dragon.” She flapped a wing towards the fiery Enfernae below them and he took notice and flew towards them, perching low on a rock behind and below them.
“Westar, go in and do that same thing you did last time.” She told him. She looked at the others. “Solosis, Flint, use your breath weapons or whatever powers you have. Me and the thick Enfernae will knock the crystals away so the monarches can kill him.”

Westar could feel his stomach twist nervously. He wasn’t keen on getting knocked into a wall again, but Onyx needed him to be a distract Apollyon. If he didn’t, Onyx might get hurt. Or one of the other dragons, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to stand anyone getting hurt other than the red dragon.

Just as they were about to go, Moss hissed "WAIT."
Flint snorted. "Wait what? We don't have time!!"
"What if I did it?"
"Did what?"
"Knocked the crystals out. It's gonna take a ton of force to be able to do that."
Ocavo was confused. "But you're the smallest of us. Well, almost." He said, glancing over at Westar.
"But I'm a Solosis." Moss persisted. "I am literally solid as a rock. My father taught me a trick a long time ago that I think just might work."
Flint shook his head. "Just might? That's not good enough. Just might will get us all killed."
"And so would trying to knock the crystals off in pieces. Even if you did do it, you'd get caught in the blast and get killed yourselves."
"And you wouldn't?" Ocavo asked, still not sure about this.
"Not if I come in at an angle, high speed, and take the whole thing out at once."
Flint glared. "You sure about this?"
The young dragon nodded.
Ocavo looked at Onyx. "Seems like it's our best shot."

Several sharp shards of presence crystals shot into Vren's face before joining the shield, stinging considerably as Apollyon wrenched the Enferna off of him, getting a hold on one of his horns and tossing him a few yards away, holding him off.

The huge dragon was nearly at the limit of his power with so many things occupying his attention, but he slowly started to get up and move forward behind the shield, pushing at the watchstones' power, daring them to stop him.
Vren felt pain explode in his face, several gashes immediately filling with crimson blood. He could tell he’d done some damage to Apollyon, at least he would be weaker for the monarches.

Onyx listened with a frown as they talked. *SO over these dragons..* she huffed inwardly, thoroughly annoyed that Apollyon hadn’t been stopped yet.
She nodded abruptly to Moss. “Fine. I- don’t have fire, so I’ll come behind you and knock away any remaining crystals after you do your little trick.” She lifted her wings. “So. We done speculating and everything, or are we going to wait around for him to kill us all?”
The red and white dragoness lifted off. “Oh yeah,” she called to them. “Westar’s going in first. Do NOT touch him.” She waved him on with her tail.

"All right sorry for the hold up." Moss said. "Let's do this."

The young Solosis scrambled around the side of the peak a ways to where there was a long, steep slope that ended with a sharp ledge that curved slightly upward. *I got this, I got this, I got this, I got this* He repeated to himself as he awaited Onyx's signal.

Westar pumped his wings and rose up from his hiding spot, winging carefully around Onyx and the flying Solosis. He took a shuddering breath and swooped down towards the red dragon. *Again..* he thought despairingly.
The young Imago barred his teeth and grimaced as he flew headlong into Apollyon’s back again, driving his shoulder down onto the burn wounds he had inflicted earlier.

Apollyon roared again, searing in pain. getting Westar off of him only in time to be cracked in the side of the head with Ocavo's spear as Flint took a snap at his left hind leg. He was weakening.

“Go!” Onyx ordered Moss, relishing the excitement she felt from seeing Apollyon in such a venerable state.

Moss nodded and launched off with his back legs, hitting the ground hard and instantly curling up into a ball. Rolling as he was, he propelled himself even faster with a strong pump of his wings before tucking them in too for maximum speed. At this point, he was careening down the mountainside at a dizzying rate, heading straight for the conflict below.

Current was shocked when the blast hadn’t killed Apollyon. She could feel how powerful the stone was through Vixen’s scales, so when he stood back up, crystals surrounding him, she felt a pang of fear thrum through her heart.

Westar breathlessly flew a few feet away from Apollyon to gather his bearings before swooping down towards the red dragon again, breathing a searing hot flame though a gap between Flint, Ocavo and Vren’s attacks.
