Our Sexlinks have recently started laying all be it intermittently thus far ... my question is this ? Curtains or no curtains on nest boxes ? While some birds immediately used the nest boxes a one has preferred the cOop floor ...

Curtains are entirely up to you. The one who prefers the coop floor at the moment probably won't be a fan though

Ive never put curtains on my nesting boxes.

No.
Put one fake egg in each nest....then be patient, it can take up to a month for new layers to settle in.

Thanks for asking this question. I have a 20 wk old black Marans who is showing the signs, and I've been wondering about curtains, too. She will be our first layer!
