A number of ways. I only know how on Windows systems, I don't know about apples, tablets, or smart phones.
1. Click and hold down on the image, drag it to your desktop, drop it there. You'll now have a copy on your desktop.
2. Right click, select "save image as", save it to your computer.
next step, with either of those, while making a post click the little picture icon in the reply edit window, choose "insert image from my computer", navigate to the image and select it.
3. Right click on the image, select "copy link location". Save that somewhere (a text file on your desktop, for example).
When making a post click that same little picture icon, paste the link location in to the image URL box.

I use the old cut and copy method.

Move cursor over image you want to keep. Right click mouse button. On the drop down menu click , Save Image as..." Click save. That's it. I save all my images to my pictures and i also keep images in different folders I have created ahead of time.

Kevin565 and Gargoyle- they are great, both of you!

Now I want to know: How do you create them in the first place? Is it some particular specialized software, or maybe as simple as the "Paint" program that comes pre-loaded on most (Windows) computers?
