Custom Greetings for Greeters

Kevin565 and Gargoyle- they are great, both of you!

Now I want to know: How do you create them in the first place? Is it some particular specialized software, or maybe as simple as the "Paint" program that comes pre-loaded on most (Windows) computers?

I've used paint in the past but usually only for adding the Welcome to a existing photo. These particular ones were made on some free online animated text and glitter text sites. You do have to save them though because they will get deleted from their servers after awhile.
