wow, I've never had a problem with Dell support. Well, this one time I got a guy who knew less about computers than I did. I just asked to be transferred to someone else and also made a complaint to his supervisor.

Several companies (Dell is one) now have the option that for $30 a year you can get a special phone number that goes to a US call center.

My dh always makes me call cs,and I dread it because I can never understand the person. When I have issues with the computer I just put it back to factory setting.

Mattemma we could not get it to restore at all. The laptop was a pretty badly infected.

I love my current Dell computor, but after all the garbage their customer service just put me through I'm not buying another.


So far I have been called stupid, hung up on, given the run around and put on hold for over 15 minutes.


I'm not in a really good mood right now.

Even worse nothing they did would not speed my computor up. Other then tell me if I paid them $260.00 they would clean up my files.


I can take it to someone local and pay less.


Just a little stressed, but I get to go shopping! (It's for cattle vaccines and a halter, but it releases my stress.) /img/smilies/lau.gif

download CCleaner! It's free plus it fixes your registration errors which is a big reason why computers bog down and freeze and to top it off it cleans up all junk files on your computer! If your computer crashes like wont load up then I don't think it'll work but if you're going for a tune up where they charge a couple hundred bucks it pretty much use this program and its free I'm not saying it's perfect but it won't mess your computer up anymore I run it on seven different systems and percentage wise drastic improvement
