Cute Cat/Kitten Contest

This is Tigger...born August 22nd. He is named in honor of a friend's beloved kitty which passed of old age this morning.

Tigger had 3 litter mates, unfortunately, our dog thought they were mice, and disposed of 2 of them. Tigger and his sister, Wendy are now safe in the house until they get bigger than mice or rats, so the dog will leave them alone.

How very sad. He has recovered well from his ordeal though, you can't tell from looking at him that he ever had any troubles. They both look very happy. Henri should do a kitty commercial with that pose.

Carmel, Butterscotch(first two pictures),and Casper(only in the first, and last picture). Males, a year or less in this picture

I copied this off the post I made a couple days after they came:
I was walking back from locking up the chickens I heard so noise and shine my flashlight up where it was come from it turned out it was a orange and white kitten and there was another one with less white up under are little house (old falling apart house on are property) both are skinny and after petting the one they both followed me back to the house they are living on are deck in a box, both are male. And yesterday my sister saw a white cat up by are cars this morning it was in the box with the other two, it looks like it's their litter mate same pink nose almost the same color eyes and the act like they know each other.

About a month later Casper disappeared(I think someone picked him up because he was pretty), but Carmel and Butterscotch are still with us and doing fine.

Missie & Crickee

They lick each other and act like good sisters should.
Missie's mother was found as a stray behind an office building, and she was pregnant, gave birth to four kittens. We kept Missie, and she's the best mouser ever! When she was a kitten, she would climb out of her play-pen using some of her extra toes just like thumbs. She doesn't bother chicks, poults, goslings or ducklings, doesn't even watch them. She catches her mice and voles (even chipmunks!), but if she doesn't eat them fast enough the dog will for her. She's around eight or nine years old.

Crickee was a stray found behind the same office building (it's a communal cat drop off

). We took her in, her yowling all the way home because she was in heat. The next day I found out she had worms, and let's just say she went to the vet to be spayed (and get deworming pills) soon after that! Worms are all gone, and she's actually pretty fat now. She eats like there's no tomorrow, because she had been left without food so many times. She WILL eat until she pukes, so only small meals at a time. We think she's about... Three years old? She is the total opposite of Missie, because she's never caught anything in her life. She tries, but she wouldn't know what to do with it if she had caught it.

They're both very happy to be indoor-outdoor cats until winter hits, and then they both turn into lazy lumps of fur.

They enjoy long naps, and sitting in front of the pellet stove for warmth.
