She is saying that it would be inconvenient for youThey’ve been snuggled nonstop since hatchday and I’m their main caregiver. We want them to be pets and very snuggly. I have been able to spend an entire school day away from them without any reports of stress or complaining but if I’m purposefully loud the chicks will peep for me from their room. I can walk around them without them peeping for me as well. They seem to be fine on their own, but my family definitely wants to give them as much snuggles as possible! I’m not sure if you’re saying that the snuggles are bad for the chickens or just inconvenient for me, but I don’t mind having super snuggly babies. It’s really only two of them that are incredibly vocal about being held. I am thinking about making a soft little cave for them since they very much enjoy hand caves and might make them feel like they’re snuggled by mama. Once again, they are just pets who will poop breakfast for us. We are animal lovers and can’t help but snuggle all our lovely little nuggets.
but it doesn't have to be. If you like spending time with them them you should! If they are already begging for attention then you won't have any trouble making them eggcellent pets.I had a chick that loved hanging out with me. I'd do my schoolwork while she slept inside my jacket and Sophia grew up to be the best girl I've ever had. Sadly, she passed away in October, but I'll always remember her. I have lots of fun pictures of us together. She was always begging to come up and sit on my lap! Sounds like your girls will be the same wayYes!!! This is exactly what I want! I’m so happy haha![]()

Rather happy they’re cuddlers!!Just today Cheryl and Goose (two of my chicks) were chasing my fingers as I typed an essay for school, trying to get underneath them for some cuddle time. So sorry your girl has passed.I had a chick that loved hanging out with me. I'd do my schoolwork while she slept inside my jacket and Sophia grew up to be the best girl I've ever had.
