I am thinking of naming my hens Gumby and Pokey.I know they are boy names, but I am mentally obsessed with that show.I have two others that I don't know what to name?Any suggestions, and also they are all hens, but a boy name would be ok.

I was listening to "pink martini" radio and "what lola wants lola gets" came on I named my EE bantam that. I saw my 19 year old son who doesn't live at home anymore, and told him I named my chick Lola, and I told him I named her after a song, and my son started to sing "What lola wants " and I said "how did you know that song?" he said " I listened to pink martini radio.

I have Betty, Gwendolyn, Goldie Juan, peep, Jana, olive, Carlos, Fred, dice and charlotte. I'm also struggling on naming chicks but I hope I helped

Right now I have Mister Roo and three matching red sex link hens that all come running when I call for "Chicken Jane". I got some assorted Bantams 2 1/2 weeks ago that will all be easy to tell apart and they will all get their own names I'm sure once I can tell hens from roos and decide who will be officially staying and which Roos will have to go.

I have decided to name the new chicks after other birds. I now have: Jae and Heron (Blue laced Red Wyandottes), Owl and Flicker (Araucanas), Wren and Lark (Russian Orloffs), Chick(adee) (Buff Orpington), Duck and Hawk (Speckled Sussex).
