cutest chicken names!

In February, we got 4 Barred Rocks to add to my RIR/EE flock. The granddaughter came over and immediately named them: Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff. So, she was in a "Frozen" mood and we have the whole cast. Here they are at 3 weeks.

I LOVE the names, she's a smart girl! And I love the barred rocks, we just recently got a small flock of chicks and in it we have 3 barred rocks. And we always name each flock with a theme, something my son has started and stuck to and it works nice for us cause we always know what coop someone is referring to. We have the Cowboy flock, Fox and the Hound flock, the Outsider flock...etc I think it's cute!

Only 2 of my eggs hatched. I named them Silver and Gold
I got some chicks from the feed store to keep'm company...

Almost all of mine have biblical names: Naomi, Abigail, jesse, Eunice, Tabitha, Dinah...etc.

My hens' names are: Jemima (Rhode Island Red), Petunia (Gold Laced Wyandotte), Diva (Silver Laced Wyandotte), and Addy (Delaware). Excited to get more in a few short weeks!

I have 4.5 weeks old chicks: 3 Gold Laced Wyandottes and 3 Partridge Rocks. Lovely friendly girls already...

I plan to name them: Ophelia, Evangeline, Caldonia, Maybelline, Nadine and Alberta.
