The golden laced is Churro.
Sliver Laced is Zsa Zsa.
Black Orpington is Shaniqua.
Light Brahma is Cruella.
Pigeon was the Buff Brahma Rooster. (He looked like a pigeon as a chick.) He has a new home.

This is Zombie my Rooster (Welsummer) and BBQ (Q for Short) my Barred Rock

I just pick up a few more chicks! Their names are:

Farrah - a wheaten Ameraucana

Ours have one ordinary old lady name - Enid, after Enid Blyton, who's part of the reason I wanted chickens - then Elvis, then Egg. They all, weirdly, suit their names.

I have 3 leghorns.. LouEllen, Deborah, Chuck
3 Red Sexlinks.. Gracie, Destiny, BonQuiQui
A Speckled Sussex named Gertrude
And a EE named Crash (all ladies!)

We have these two speckled sussex hens that we need help naming! One of them (the right one) literally follows us around and pretty much begs us for food, the same way our dogs do. She dares to walk into our shop and stare at us and the food bins, knowing there is food here and she practically demands it. Even if we are on the other side of the property (2 acres), she follows us and waits for us to drop food for her. If we walk out of the shop with a cup in our hand, or an apple, or literally whatever in our hands, she run run runs to us from wherever she is and looks up at us. We love her. She may have an eating disorder (aka being a little piglet). None the less, these two are the biggest fatties we have. They let me pet them and hold them WHILE they are still eating. If food is in their face, they don't care what we're doing to them.

I prefer cutesy names that match or go together. Be creative!!

As far as my other birds, I have a Partridge Cochin Roo named Bigfoot and a hen named Big Momma (since she's the biggest bird we have). My buckeye hens are named Bonnie and Stevie. We originally ordered 2 females and 1 male buckeye, so we thought for sure that Stevie was really a Steve. She looked different that the other two, was darker, and had a different comb (a recessive gene). But she never developed tail feathers or spurs or anything else like that, so we had to change her name to Stevie (like Stevie Nicks). My Easter Egger's name is Lucy.

I have two Blue Andalusian hens that are unnamed, as well as two Light Brahma hens. They don't show their personality as much, or haven't yet, except for the Blues... They are very skittish, but still come running when we throw scratch out. They avoid us otherwise. BUT they do jump over our fences.

In February, we got 4 Barred Rocks to add to my RIR/EE flock. The granddaughter came over and immediately named them: Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff. So, she was in a "Frozen" mood and we have the whole cast. Here they are at 3 weeks.
