Are your salmon faverolles rooster gentle and kind to their hens?
I don't actually have any hens - just seven roosters. I lost my SF and Silkie hens to predation a few years ago. At the time, my rooster-to-hen ratio was terrible so I kept the roos and hens in separate coops/runs. They had limited interactions, but from what I remember, the SF roos, even as cockerels, were gentle. Based on their gentlemanly behavior in the rooster flock, I suspect they would have continued to be amazing to their hens. Are your salmon faverolles rooster gentle and kind to their hens?
