Cutting the throat method...?

Hubby sticks them in the brain thru the mouth, (while in the cone) which is helpful in 'releasing' the feathers first, while rendering the bird braindead. Quickly tho.. he cuts the throat, and they bleed very well. I don't know if this helps or not, but we have always done it this way, and the birds are super super easy to pluck. Cept the wing and tail feathers tho... I usually have to use pliers, because my fingers are getting weak, AND they are slippery, lol.
