CX gone crazy? Please help

I'd say butcher the delinquent now as well as some others that are large. Each week choose a few more that are large, making room for the others to grow more until final butcher date. I had 25 meaties in a tractor coop 20 x 10-bleah

no fighting and I butchered some ahead of time as they were developing leg issues-still averaged out at 5 lbs each at 6 weeks old...

He has been staying in the coop at night and during the day I let him run around in the yard. He really is a little butt because the first place he heads is to the tractor with his neck feathers all flared out and just has a stare down with whoever will pay attention to him. He is quite the good little forager and at night he sleeps snuggled up to the fence with the girls on the other side. When I went to close the coop up last night he was all snuggled in just a purring away. I'll let him go until butcher day beings I have a place to keep him. I'm keeping my little cockerel that the rooster tried to kill in there too. They seem to get along okay.

I raised 40 meat birds in my tractor 10X8. I did move the tractor 2X per day the last two weeks. fresh grass and bugs are better than a dirt ground!

OP - You have plenty of room. These birds don't like to move much when they get big.
