I have a friend who is even more *NOT in the know* about goats than I am. I went over to trim her goats hooves for her and noticed her goat that was on the stand appeared to have worms in her poo. My friend says she has been religiously using an all-natural remedy every week in their food
I explained to her about worm tolerance build-up and suggested she needed to be a bit more aggressive in her worming regimine. Especially here in Texas. Then I noticed the goats flanks were very pale compared to the rest of their body so I then suggested a copper bolus of which she had never heard of.
So I wanted to ask everyone here dosage amounts of Cydectin for the girl whom she is NOT milking (is there a withdrawel time if you DO use Cydectin?), dosage amount for Ivermectin for the girl she IS milking, and how much copper bolus. Also, do the feed stores usually carry the copper?
Thanks to everyone for any info they can share in helping get these girls a little relief....
