Cyprus' Chat Thread

Hi Cy,

Wanted to introduce you to DW... @Grammy60 and I have been together more than 41 years and been married more than 39... She get's me and has tolerated me for decades. She decided to join BYC today so I thought you should meet her. I'm still working on teaching her to navigate the site. She doesn't post much, but reads a lot.

ETA: She loved Cypress too. Recently unpacking moving boxes (yea we've been here three years and still have unpacked boxes) she found lace thingy's from Larnica. Hand sewn things that are beautiful. Doilies by US standards.
Thank you for introducing me to her!

@Grammy60 I'm pleased to meet you and look forward to seeing you around. If/when you wish, you are more than welcome to post here in my chat thread. I've thoroughly enjoyed having Bob around, he is a wonderful friend :)
My username is Cyprus (obviously  ) but please feel free to call me Cy in public :)

The study abroad opportunity is to Germany. I don't want to go. My parents made me enter this program.
Butting in uninvited: The south of Germany is better. Beautiful scenery & the Germans are a little more relaxed. In the north ~ well I'm an Aussie, laid back about most things to the point of being comatose~ & we found the northern Germans so uptight it wasn't funny. Like, we got pulled up for jaywalking on a completely deserted street without even a parked car in sight. We came from Sydney where everyone plays dodgems with the traffic. Lovely people but fanatical about rule keeping.

Morning folks :frow

@Ribh I think it's a lot like here. The difference is country folk vice city folk. I found the small farming communities laid back with wonderfully kind folks. But I hated the city.

Good morning, everyone. :frow
Just woke up and still tired. I really need to find a way to get rid of my extra males...
