Thank you for the help. She was very upset not being with her buddies so we are hand medicating with a syringe. We also added some chick grit to the food.

Pretty sure the expiration date on the food is 02-Aug-27

Well.....we've been giving the molasses laxative and the swelling is still there. He/she seems normal otherwise. Should we be concerned?

I don't know.
It may be a hernia.

What does the lump feel like? Hard, soft? If you gently push it in does it go away or get smaller, and then come back when released?
