Its common for black birds to get leakage when they are young and molt it out later. I've also seen it get worse as well. So its a coin toss I guess. I have a really nice Black Brahma that had little silver leakage in his hackle this spring. And he's molted twice now and its getting worse. All through his hackle, wings, and saddle now. So much for using him for a breeder. Luckily I have two of his brothers that don't have any leakage. Neither did any of his sisters. Its weird.
