That looks like a lot of feed could be dragged out of it, or maybe ducks don't do that?I just use 4'' pvc pipe.

I dont fill the pipe all the way up, and yes the enclosure is interesting. It's like a 20 year old manger for cattle so I decided to put it to use. I needed something fenced off so the sheep dont get into it and something that had a cover so the feed doesnt get wet. That looks like a lot of feed could be dragged out of it, or maybe ducks don't do that?
Interesting enclosure too.
So I got home to a gallon of water in my kitchen floor seems my old plastic bin has a crack at the bottom and my wife said the ducks where splashing away all day...to my shgrin no one noticed the leaking bin because my rug under table soaked it up. The bucket held up well still had 3 gallons of water in it. I also Threw toghter a mini version of Aarts feeder using (2) 2 liter bottles.they will have all of them dirtied up in no time flat.
the life time goal of ducks is to see how fast they can dirty up the water and splash the pan dry.
Boy, that's for sure!!!`I can't tell you how many feeders and waterers I "invented" over the 50 years I played with chickens.. and cows and pigs..
once you start, you always come up with a new better one.. it's as bad as chicken math..
Here's my mini with a quart yogurt container and funnel that fit just right.I also Threw toghter a mini version of Aarts feeder using (2) 2 liter bottles.
