No they do sex them i asked all these questions before i signed up for their waiting list. They buy from large hatcheries like some of the top call duck hatcheries and sell them for less which makes them a bigger profit, they sell show breeder quality and show quality ducks at efowl ( for calls ).

Odd. I asked them about it just in the past couple of weeks and was told they'll do only straight run. They said they wouldn't sex them even if someone wants to pay extra for it.

Am East indie is its own breed im pretty sure its just called a black call duck.

Are you sure? I thought they were their own breed. They sure don't look like calls to me... They're quieter, too!

Black East Indies are a completely different breed of duck, but there are people who cross them because they don't know the difference. Indies have a longer bill, longer neck, smaller head, slimmer body, bigger feet, and are heavier than calls by about a pound. Calls run under 2 pounds, with the best being around 1 pound give or take a couple ounces. Indies should weigh 2-3 pounds with average of 2 1/2 pounds.

They are bantams, which puts them in the same group as calls, but they are not calls. Just like a bantam cochin is not the same as a bantam wyandotte.
