Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Like Amykins said it takes 28 days but you know call ducks can't always peck through so after 27 days be watching even more closely

I'll go home tonight and put a light up to their air cells to see if any have internally pipped. As of yesterday non had but I hesitate in opening the bator because I don't want to let too much humidity out I have it set at 65% right now

your humidity might be a little on the low side. I've never hatched successfully that low at lock down, but I incubate by the weight loss method so it might be different if you do it another way.

How high should I have it set at? Should I continue to mist them as well? I saw tonight one has internally pipped

I have my humidity set to 70% and this morning I checked on them and the one has externally pipped! The others are still alive, one may have internally pipped but I'm not sure at the point quite yet

400

Here is egg number 1!!!!! 4 more still alive but haven't internally piped yet

each of my drakes has three hens

Okay thanks. I have two boys. I told my parents I only needed a hen each (because that's what I thought.

). I think they'll be mad if I tell them I need 3 each. Can I get just two per drake? They're already not happy that I'm keeping two non cold hardy chickens in the garage...
