That's so cool! I just know Bean would be a hit with her adorable blueberry feets <3 And Wobbles IS a standard color, so he's got a good shot, too. I doubt he'd take home the blue ribbon if he were up against James Monk or Art Lundgren's birds, but he'd probably clean up at a county or regional show!

Oh no, I think I just stroked out, Amykins. You mentioned "adorable blueberry feets" and I love ducks' webs. She is gonna be a stunner as an adult besides being cute.

You can keep Woma pythons, too. Doesn't make it any less illegal to import them in from Australia.

Oh is it illegal to import them? I mean there are plenty of breeders that breed them in the U.S. Couldnt you just buy them from the breeders?

We might see each other if you go big! And I do as well! I am going to show my ducks this year so if I win big and you do as well that would be cool! There are actually two national call duck shows. One in Michigan and one in Ohio/kentucky (It switches every year between ohio and kentucky)

I think a call duck show would be bad for me to witness because I'd go nuts at all the cuteness and I'd wanna hold everyone's birds and kiss and snuggle with them and they'd probably have security escort me out. Best I sit these out.

Hehe, "death by cuteness" strikes again. It's true though, her feet look like little mashed-up blueberries! They're all speckled with dark blue spots

If there were enough brought in before the trade embargo went into effect, yes. But I dunno the legality of the one that guy brought in. They're illegal to keep in WA state, so who knows how he got his. We didn't ask, we only care about treating animals.

That is gorgeous, Amykins. Thank you for posting it. I can see why you are excited about Bean being a blue. And I have never seen a Russian Blue cat before. These call ducks are so multi dimensional; super cute, beautiful, great personalities. Where does it end?

That's totally what she looks like!! She's an odd duck, her head is pied but her body is bibbed. She really does look like a pinto bean!

Also, a vet update: She still has a slight gurgle in her air sacs, so we're continuing the antibiotics for another week. Her gut bacteria has been wiped out from it, so we're upping the dose of her BeneBac to help her digest food. Other than that, she's gaining weight and is super energetic! Everyone at the clinic has rallied around her, they all got a chance to snuggle her and give her some TLC. <3 I really do have the best vet evarrrr.

Awesome vet update, Amykins. So hugely happy and relieved to hear that. You do have a great vet.
