Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

[Soaring Chicks]

I have a few calls now.
I have 3 Chocolate ducks,1 Pastel drake (need a duck for him).1 pair Grey's plus a extra drake ,1 Pair of Blue Fawn,1 pair of White and last but not least Blk Magpie pair.

I only have the drake of these now the ducks got taken from their nest while at work one day. Now they have their own pens.

3 look like mallards and one is all black with a brown neck, brown tail, and greenish head....So cute! I wuv them. I'll post pictures as soon as my phone works.

Some photos of my new call duck breeder pens i made over the weekend

I just have to put hinges on the door, and fasten my peice of metal roofing

Im happy with the built in swimming pool design, it works well and is easy to dump with the big door i made

Great shelter for a pair of call ducks, now ive only got to make about 20 more

Great looking breeding pen, similar to how ours are set up. To save the upper lip of the pans when you dump the pools, push them up from underneath. be sure to paint/stain/seal all the wood too so it holds up for you.

ButterScotch Male just coming out of Molt.

ButterScotch Female is also just coming out of Molt.

Here's all three of my calls. The ButterScotch pair and then the lonely White female. I hopeing to be able to get a drake for her soon!

Next year I plan on adding a couple more colors.. Like Grey Pied and Grey Crested Calls.

Those are just cement mixing pans for the pools, they push up easily allowing the water to dump out. We do ours every other day, takes 15 seconds to dump them. Pictures of our breeding pens.
