Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Johnn, is Phoebe Aleutian color? She is gorgeous!

Might let her try a second time, was this her first try? I found with my most typey line (Snowy) the girls kinda played around with being broody the first time, but the 2nd they fully committed and did extremely well...

lol... no biggie... I think I have more broody Calls right now than I have ever had of broodys, period!

Oh my gosh those pictures are priceless! Adorable photos and ducks!

I have 6 juvenile calls, 2 snows, 2 Butterscotch, and 2 black bibbed. They are fully fledged and have flown 100 yards away from my house! They are crazy, and I thought they are only able to fly a short distance, but my ducks don't know that! Unfortunately they are quite skittish and run away from me, probably because I had to chase them around to put them away in their coop before they finally learned to go in on their own, which they do now every night. Any tips on making them less scared of me?

And no, Calls do not just do short flights, they are fully flight capable, thus why they should always have a covered pen besides being snack sized, lol.... if there is a worry or issue, trimming wings may be your best bet...

my pippa call duckling has imprinted on me and we are BEST friends! Will she fly away and i have to clip her wings, i do NOT want to clip her wings coz it will affect her look and it is unnatural...but if she will fly away i would have to>>>> @Ravynscroft
