Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Sorry! ;; Wobbles is just doin' the same old thang,  I've been focused on figuring out this duckling thing. Still  haven't heard back from that woman who's hatching this week, so I'm getting REALLY nervous!
Good for him. I wonder why she hasn't gotten back to you. Odd. And is part of the difficulty attributable to call ducks not being as numerous and popularly owned as larger breeds? Plus it seems what is available to you are ducks that live 1000s of miles away.

Yeah, pretty much. They're lousy layers, so you don't get many of them per breeding season.

mine seen to be decent layers. My snowy are much more seasonal than my greys. my snowy we seem to lay every other day clear up through august while my greys seem to lay clear into November as long as it does not get cold early

Oh, cool. New duckling!

Well, maybe...like I said, I haven't heard back from the lady and the last correspondence we had wasn't positive. She said she didn't want to give me a little female because then she'd get stuck with an unpaired male that nobody wanted, but I told her I was fine with buying a straight run anyway. So all I can do is wait and see. If she says no, I'm back at square one. :/
