Spoke to the girl we got Bean from, she's definitely a blue! She's got two blue bibbed, so it looks like lil' Beanie is their progeny. I'm so excited! Blue is my absolute FAVORITE call duck color, and I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd ever have one!

Well all she said was that she breeds blue aztecs now. And that she might have some available in the fall. Give me a sec to get pic of her birds.

I didn't even know you could show non-standard colors. I'd love to be able to show my babies one day! Maybe as early as next year. Wobs' wing feathers still haven't regrown yet so he's a no-go. If Bean grows into a high-quality duck you'll definitely see her in the show ring!

That's so cool! I just know Bean would be a hit with her adorable blueberry feets <3 And Wobbles IS a standard color, so he's got a good shot, too. I doubt he'd take home the blue ribbon if he were up against James Monk or Art Lundgren's birds, but he'd probably clean up at a county or regional show!
