Do you have other ducks? They are loud. Just a heads up. Boys are really quiet. They all adore water, so be prepared to buy them a nice kiddie pool

In the past we had a trio of Mallards that we bought from our local Tractor Supply. There was some sort of mix up as they turned out to be wild mallards. Once they were old enough they flew around the farm morning and evening and then in the fall, flew away for good. I know they are loud and that's okay. They will have to be loud for us to hear them over all the roosters. We live on an acreage and don't have super close neighbors. The closest neighbors have chickens and ducks, too. My husband is already planning out their new home, complete with sunken pool. Just need to find a breeder and get on the list.

I have heard that call ducks can fly away too from the breeder I got mine from. Not sure how true that is.

They swim in the pool with the Toulouse Geese My two girls. I only have 2/9 girls. I'm keeping the one above for the drake.

Jen - I was looking at your images - and there was one there of a blue fawn call duck. It looks similar to my two girls. Is that what their colour is called?

Since you breed them yourself, which male should I keep? All are males besides the two that look like the last one I posted (blue fawn).

They are still young - 12 weeks, but I have to get rid of all but one male before winter hits. I don't have enough girls to sustain that many.
