Zero eggs from ducks since Sept.Have had zero eggs for 3 days now. Miss them!
same here too.Zero eggs from ducks since Sept.
If the egg's not cracked, it hasn't froze...freesing temp of an egg is substantally below 32....and there are reports of ducklings hatching from frozen eggs of wild ducks.I'm out at first light, they are always pacing the gate already waiting to go out to the pond. They are so cute and excited in the morning, very early risers. If they crack, I scramble and give back to them(I do w/the chicken eggs), I've never had a duck egg crack yet. (knock on wood) So as long as their not cracked, their fine, that's awesome. Kind of hard to tell if something's frozen on the inside. Thanks for the info.
