I expect her to be a great broody when she gets started. I had also bough Buffs from TSC and two different years in a row acutally and they were the best broodies on the place. They were constantly broody. For some reason though, my ducks always seemed to lay more than what they could safely cover before the started setting, he guees its because they cover them with leaves and nesting matterial to hide them when they are off of the nest and then they can't really see how many they have. So you may want to watch that when she starts nesting in one place ( they usually lay randomly anywhere unless they are planning on setting. So if you see her getting more than a dozen or so in the nest, you may want to marks some chicken eggs and put them under her to make her think she has laid plent and start setting, then remove the chicken eggs.
