Saw it in real time, and am still amazed at the horse and the job that the jockey did.

I always forget about the Derby and then remember it like the day after never fails lol every year I want to watch. Every year I forget. Heck, this year I was even researching various horse races like last week heck even yesterday they had a special on the TV about the retired race horses lol I actually want to go to that farm though. I think it’s called Old Friends. It looked beautiful.

Sis texted this morning…..she split a wager with uncle and it paid out nearly $600 (each) I think it was on horse that took 3rd
Kinda wishing I had paid more attention this year but just wasn’t that into it

I wish I had seen it in real time but it is nice being able to rewind and keep track of him from the beginning and watch what he does. It gets more amazing each time I watch it! I mean, that was amazing and so smart how even right at the beginning he pulled him more into the inside with the pack so he’d have a better chance of moving up later. That was good thinking. And then watching him weave right through the other horses

I love it..he comes out last on take off, slowly sneaks up on them.

It was sooo excing! Watch it on YouTube you guys. That horse was in the back. That jockey was amazing! The horse was known.. only..that it did better with distance. The only reason why this horse got in was because there was a scratch on another horse, they almost didn't enter him, even then. Thought, why not.

I can't wait to watch this later.
