Daisy is dead, we went out and all that was left were feathers and the water bucket was knocked over. It had to be a hawk attack.

Daisy was a special chicken, all the chickens always pecked her. The hawk must have attacked her while she was getting a drink from the bucket out in the open.

Here is a pic of her and my dog Taffy that died last year!

Daisy was a good chicken.

She was a beautiful RIR, i am sorry for your lose and share your pain of a loss

I lost one of my beautiful RIRs 2 weeks ago to a coyote or something and all i found was ruffled feathers in the woods

But then the next morning after the incident i found a dead coyote hit right near my house!!! THats called karma!!

I also had a chicken, a super sweet RIR who we found dead for no reason at eight weeks.
