Damaged beak

Hi, my hybrid chicken Battenberg developed a bump on the top of her beak not long after we got her. I took a pic of her a few weeks ago but the bump isnt very clear. I went to check on her this afternoon and the bump appears to have been knocked as theres quite a bit of dried blood on it. Just to be clear, the bump is between her nostrils but she's definitely not bleeding from the nose. Our other chook has blood on her beak too, but seems to have it wiped on her by Battenberg as there is no wound. Both girls eating and chopsing as normal... in fact managed to get into the raisins whilst my back was turned googling. A goshawk has been causing problems and i wonder if the stress of that is a factor. Any advice on

what to do or what it could be would be great. I'm new to this and I'm hoping i might just be helicopter chicken parenting!

Those types of bumps on the beak are very common. Sometimes they can be related to cutting the beak on something shard such as a feeder or some wire fencing. Others are thought to be a virus and may drop off at some point. Here are some threads will similar bumps on beaks:

Nothing more than perhaps some iodine on it.
