Yesterday I noticed one of my hands hanging out sitting around, but I just assumed she was doing her own thing however, today I noticed that she’s just sitting there staring very low energy. When I went over to her, she didn’t even budge and when I picked her up, she was extremely docile with her eyes closed. She felt very limp in my arms. When I set her back down, she just kind of plopped over and that’s when I noticed what looks to be like, her wing is broken or there’s some strange growth on it. The wing isn’t drooping at all. I’ve never noticed any of the other hens picking on her. She’s super confused and out of it and heavy breathing with her eyes closed. has anyone ever seen this injury before? She will periodically stand up and look around and then go back into being out of it again.

Oh, poor thing! That does not look good. Is the wing still there or are we seeing exposed bone from it being ripped off? Also, I would bring her inside in a dog crate and give her some NutriDrench, and try to gently feel the weird spot with gloves to feel the texture.

I feel horrible for her! Her wing is still there, but it looks like where it attaches to her body has an injury. I’ve never seen anything like this before.

Okay. I would try to clean up the space. Rinse it with pure saline and gently massage it with a clean, wet washcloth. Try to see if it is hard or soft, and if it's a wound than how deep it is. Let us know what you find

She died :( the infection was too far spread by the time I realized something was off

Do you have a rooster? That is in an area that they can be injured by spurs when the roo mounts. If you have a roo, I would trim his spurs.
It looks like it was pretty deep which is why I think spurs. It's also possible it got cut on wire or metal somewhere.
I'm very sorry for your loss. :hugs
