Scratching is nothing more than enrichment, which can easily be provided through toys and puzzles.

Sand baths can be provided indoors, too.

OP doesn't even live in the U.S. so for you to call them cruel when you have no idea of their situation, its rude

It's been raining since 4 days continuously I have indoor chickens they live in my bedroom with me and currently the wall is completely damp and there's some musky earthy smell . Pain is peeling off we will re-paint the wall once it's completely dried .
I want to ask that it's safe for chickens? Because they live in this room I open all the windows for ventilation

You should probably not have the chickens in your room while the paint is drying since the fumes might not be good for them.

Agree. Even people are supposed to stay out of the room for a day or so to allow fumes to leave with the exception of small amounts of time.

What breed are they? I don't think that was mentioned. Most breeds really should be outside after they're feathered, But there are some bantams that are small enough I can't imagine they'd be housed differently than a large parrot

Is there a reason the chickens can't live outdoors? How many are there? I would worry there might be mold growing in that wall, which would not be healthy for either the chickens or for you. We have heard there have been floods in India, is this what is causing the dampness? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to help.

Yes they roam outside Throughout the day yesterday there's no Rain today is sunny
I wipe some paint yesterday from wall also today with sandpaper it helps alot with the smell . Hoping the sun will help and dry it all .

My room is completely open with two way balcony sun completely enters when it's bright day airflow is amazing like you can feel the breeze throughout the day

No my chickens only go in their rooms for eating the entire day they roam or play outside in my hall or take dust bathing over the couch they stay outside all day only go inside for eating
Today its all sunny and bright and wall seems to be drying now

I have two leghorn roos I love them like my kids so never do anything oppose with their health I immediately remove them from my room yesterday when I feel it's damp smell
