Damp Moist Wall In My Chicken Room

I dont chickens would live a happy life inside.
Mine love ..indoors I have a pretty open house nearby a garden I take them downstairs when it's sunny mostly in winters many of my fellow friends have indoor pets chickens @Tanya22
We don't raise chickens for eggs or meat we save these CHICEKNS from vendors who sell them on streets basically males chick are being sold as toys here many ppl like me having pet roosters ..
In my home personally we adore our boys and they are also well trained for everything pretty adapted to the life loving beds and pillows . Playing with my plants and watching the birdies visit :)

Sounds like you simply do not know what you are talking about.

Scratching is nothing more than enrichment, which can easily be provided through toys and puzzles.

Sand baths can be provided indoors, too.

OP doesn't even live in the U.S. so for you to call them cruel when you have no idea of their situation, its rude :)

Yeah my boys do dust bath on my couch lol.

Is there a reason the chickens can't live outdoors? How many are there? I would worry there might be mold growing in that wall, which would not be healthy for either the chickens or for you. We have heard there have been floods in India, is this what is causing the dampness? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to help.

No there's no mold and the wall is self drying by sunlight so today it seems all good and fine thank you for your help and love ..
I have two and they roam outside only for feeding time I put them in their room to eat .. otherwise they don't eat and start playing 😆🤣
Plenty of stuff they do playing chasing each other and watching tv u will found this weird my chickens love watching tv it's a pretty strange thing

Exactly. Chickens can be pets just like a dog or a cat. We maintain their hygiene and play with them a lot. They take dust baths on blankets and in fact I even have a box filled with dirt in my home in which my chickens scratch and enjoy. See we don't live in large homes, but in flats. Our kids have been rescued from farms, vedors and chickens shops. We may not be able to provide them large gardens but we give them enough love that we are part of their flock.

Saaniya I would recommend that you remove your kids from that room for the time being and let them stay elsewhere. Let the room air out. Open the windows and put the fan on full speed. Humidity and all can be bad for their health and as someone in the thread said, if the walls are painted the fumes can also hurt them.

Shifted them in my other room just and they will stay here until their room will dry out completely

It's been raining since 4 days continuously I have indoor chickens they live in my bedroom with me and currently the wall is completely damp and there's some musky earthy smell . Pain is peeling off we will re-paint the wall once it's completely dried .
I want to ask that it's safe for chickens? Because they live in this room I open all the windows for ventilation

Forget the chickens, none of this is healthy for you!!! Even if the walls were perfectly fine, cohabitation with poultry is very unhygienic and you will eventually get sick.
