As if buttons weren't fun enough , today I got to watch one dance.

One of my roos was all stretched out calling away when another stretched out his wings, dipped down his head and started bouncing all around. I know it really was a courtship dance but it sure was fun to watch

I had no idea that buttons would dance.
I wonder what kind of music they prefer ?

Ours will dance... The males are quite the show off sometimes.
Other times all of them run around in a figure eight playing "Chase Me"

They are a joy to watch. More calming than an aquarium...

I had mine do this the day we put them in the summer cages outside. They were so excited to be in bigger cages and there were a few new faces. I do so wish I had taped it. I have never seen so many do it all at once. Buttons are so great!!!!

Coturnix do this too and it's just as cute

but atleast in coturnix its really more of a play thing. Mostly the chicks do it but adults will at times too
