dandelions 4 chix

Hi,

I have discovered that my chix really like dandelions and bindweed. The only problem is that these unwanted plants are in the front yard where there is no fencing and where the chix do not feel comfortable (dogs barking, etc), plus they have demonstrated a tendency to wander away. I have already tried a leg leash, which was a complete distraction to their foregaging.

I feel there must be a better way to get these weeds into chicken food without my having to harvest them and transport same back to the coop.

Chicken tractor sounds like the perfect solution. Doesn't have to be fancy, just secure.

How about a roll of the orange temporary plastic fencing to make a pen in the front yard when you want to let them up there?
