Dander

I have a friend that broods outdoors right on the border of the US and Canada year round. All it takes is to make sure your heat source is reliable and you're good to go. I myself live in freezing cold WI and I have chicks in the garage right now who never set foot in the house. My garage tends to be only about 10 degrees or so above the outside temp.

Well I guess I just need to venture into the unknown and stop being a mother hen . I'm putting them in the garage.
Do ONLY what you are comfortable doing! Just because I put my britches on starting with my left leg does not mean that's the only way to put 'em on! If you aren't comfortable putting them out yet, then leave them right where they are until you think the time's right.

As I said, I brood outdoors from the start, so mine are already used to temps in the teens and twenties. But it sure isn't the only way to raise them. Good luck!

Copy that , thank you !
