Dang Crazy Hen....Nugget is REALLY Broody (BABY PICS! Three of 3 Out)

Very pretty baby Cyn! I moved a broody with her bitties to an outside pen today and noticed that 2 of her babies appear to be blue barred rocks!

We only have 1 barred hen 'in the yard', so I'm sure they are mixed...but they are pretty nonetheless. Congrats on the babies!

Hopefully, by tomorrow morning, the other two will be out. One is a pure Orp, but the other one? I have no idea if it was Meg's or belongs to one of the blue Orp hens.

I love blue barred birds! My Riley is from my BR over my older blue Ameraucana hen. Such a sweetie she is.

Awwwww, another little cutie!

This one has more reddish/blonde than my blue one, doesn't it? I am partial to the blues. I just love them! Congrats to Nugget!!!

Nugget is thrilled with her new baby. She was a great mama last year and I expect her to do just as well this year. Wonder why none of my other broody-types have decided to do it again this year, though. Hmm. Just watch-now that I've said it, they'll all gear up for it after hearing Nugget's babies cheeping and her clucking to them.

Cyn she is beautiful! ...HER name is now official "Rose" She just looks like like a little blue tinged rose.

... start calling her Rose so she knows SHE is a SHE.

She is absolutely stunning! I absolutely love her coloring it is gorgeous. I am thrilled. I will tell Thor first thing in the morning.
