Sadly, I must cut back drastically due to financial reasons and time and must let my d'anvers go. I sold most of them locally, but this boy was just to nice to languish in someone's backyard as a pet and not be appreciated by a real d'anver lover. My two very sweet roosters have grown quite a bit since I last posted pictures. They are now very handsome young men! This one, Fizzgig, loves to be held and photographed. My boyfriend and I love him to pieces, he's perfect. It's a shame that one of my older, slightly bigger, bossier hens didn't appreciate his advances and nipped his beautiful tail.
